The Hollon HS Series of Fireproof Home Safes and Fireproof Office Safes

HS-1750E

The Hollon HS series of fireproof safes range in size from .53 cubic feet and weight of 81lbs for the HS-310 fireproof safes for home to 23 cubic feet and 1,650lbs for the HS-1750 fireproof safes for offices. There are eleven models in this fireproof safes range divided into two categories; fireproof home safes and fireproof office safes. Both categories of fireproof safes are two-hour fire rated and thirty-foot impact rated; are extremely well constructed and feature seamless solid steel wrap on the outside and a solid steel lining on the inside. The seamless construction of these fireproof safes also eliminates the weaknesses associated with welded seams making the safes far more resistant to the attention of burglars.

With the exception of the HS-1750 both categories of fireproof safes have the added security of an anchor bolt hole drilled into the bottom of the safe and come with mounting hardware. Fireproof safes for home; HS-310, HS-360 and HS-500 have two active locking bolts on the opening side and two fixed locking bolts on the hinged side while the office fireproof safes come with three-way locking chrome bolt work.

While both the home safes and office safes come with interior adjustable shelves only the office safes a have a key lockable drawer. Water and smoke damage to valuables stored in the fireproof safe is prevented by the door’s airtight recessed curvature design. In the event of a fire or flood, this is a very important feature for both home safes and office safes in keeping passports, birth certificates, deeds, insurance information or any other important documents and valuables safe and secure.

HS-310

Depending on what is to be secured will dictate the size of the fireproof safe required. Whether for home or office the HS series of fireproof safes are available in a size to suit security requirements not only for today but also into the future and at an affordable price.

Hollon Two Hour Fireproof Home Safes

The Hollon home safes range comes in three sizes and come with either a dial combination lock or electronic keyboard.  While dial combination and electronic keyboard home safes are both easily opened the electronic keyboard offers greater user flexibility at a minimal cost. Home safes with the electronic keypad locking mechanism are easily programmed, accept access codes from 3-8 digits, allowing the combination to be changed whenever needed.

Hollon home safes are extremely well constructed and feature seamless solid steel wrap on the outside and a solid steel lining on the inside. Between the two steel linings, the home safes have a concrete based fireproof layer that has been tested to provide two hours fire protection. The seamless construction of the home safes also eliminates the weaknesses associated with welded seams making the safes far more resistant to the attention of burglars.

Burglaries; Why Our Homes Need Home Safes

The FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program estimated burglaries accounted for 23.6% of property crimes and of those, burglaries of residential properties accounted for 72.6% of all burglary offences. Home safes can and do protect your valuables from burglars. The estimated loss to burglaries is $4.6 billion per annum. Homes with home safes installed are potentially secured against the average dollar loss per burglary of $2,096. Another sobering reason for installing home safes is that only 12.5% of burglary offences are cleared nationally.
Home Safes are a Deterrent

Typically, most burglaries occur in daytime, take only a couple of minutes and are opportunistic. For a burglar speed and opportunity are all-important and are deterred when home safes are installed. The items most frequently stolen, cash, firearms, jewellery, electronics and silverware are items easily protected by installing home safes. Burglars that are more sophisticated are targeting identity documents so in these times of identity theft securing personal papers in home safes is becoming a priority.

Home Safes Come in a Range of Sizes
Home safes are more specialized, more affordable and come with a range of technical specifications, sizes and features to suit all homes. Good home safes will offer fire, burglary, water and impact protection. Depending on what you are protecting home safes fall into a number of categories – fireproof home safes, fireproof burglary safes, data safes, gun safes, wall safes and biometric safes.

The HS one-hour UL fireproof home safes range has been built for strength to deter burglars, offers 1-hour fire protection in case of fire and for appearance. The HD20 fire resistant laptop safe, the RPO RG fireproof gunsafes and the HZ53 biometric safe are good examples of specialized home safes.
