The newly released FW-1814Z biometric safes come with the
security features expected of quality constructed wall safes. These burglary
resistant biometric safes are constructed using heavy-duty gauge steel having a
door constructed using 5/8 inch formed steel to prevent pry barring by burglars.
Designed for personal use at home or in the office these biometric safes are
equipped with a state-of-the-art fingerprint reader for secure and easy
operation. At home, wall safes are used to secure smaller items like passports,
personal jewellery, spare cash, documents and pistols. We often need to access these
items quickly making storage in wall safes far more convenient than securing
the items in a bank depository safe.
Wall safes draw a large part of their security from being
hidden from site. Typically, wall safes are hidden behind pictures while some
inventive people have hidden wall safes in cupboards, behind mirrors and
wardrobes. Like all wall safes, FW-1814Z biometric safes are installed between
wall studs and secured to the wall studs from the inside of the safe using the
supplied lag bolts. Wall safes come with a flange so that you don’t need to
re-plaster walls after installation.

Like all good biometric safes, FW-1814Z wall safes are
able to register the fingerprints of multiple users - thirty (30) different
fingerprints can be enrolled in the wall safes memory. Opening biometric safes
requires a fingerprint to be programmed into the safes memory. On recognition
of the fingerprint the biometric safes motorized locking bolt system will open
the door automatically. When the reader is touched only users whose fingerprints
are stored in the safes memory can crack the safes.
